What fairy tale did Annemarie remember on her way to Uncle Henrik's boat? Why did Annemarie choose this fairy tale, how does it relate to what is happening in the story?

The fairytale that Annemarie remembered when she was on her way to Uncle Henrik's boat was the story of “Little Red Riding Hood”.The reason why she pick that story was because they are both in a forest and there giving someone something.

DeleteI agree with you that Annemarie and Little Red Riding Hood were on very similar missions. I also think that the missions were both dangerous and important. I would personal be frightened to do what they did. Would you?

The fairytale Annemarie remembered on her way to Uncle Henrik's boat was the Little Red Riding Hood I thought Annmarie was sort of in the same situation Annmarie was the Little Red Riding Hood and the soldiers were the wolf. Annemarie choose this fairy tale because she was running through the forest getting her uncle a handkerchief.

Annemarie told herself the fairy tale of “Little Red Riding Hood” while she was on her way to her Uncle Henrik’s boat. I think that she choose this story for two reasons. First of all, she needed something to occupy her thought while she was running through the woods. This helped her to be less fearful of the situation that she was in. Secondly, Annemarie found a connection between what she was going through and the fairy tale. She was delivering a basket of food just like Little Red Riding Hood was and was traveling through dark scary woods. I also personally thought that it was very similar when Annemarie ran into the soldiers and Little Red Riding Hood ran into the wolf. Both the soldiers and wolf were very mean characters.
ReplyDeleteThe fairy tale Annemarie was thinking about was the tale Little Red Riding Hood. She was thinking about this story at the time she was in the woods because she was walking in the woods like Little red riding hood would. And she was thinking about it because she was going to bring something to Henrik like Little Red Riding Hood would for her grandma. The reason she chose this story is because she was a “Annemarie Little Red Riding Hood.” She walked through the forest, she heard a noise and she delivered a basket to her family member. ( AKA Henrik) Just little Red Riding Hood did. This fairy tale relates to the story because Annemarie went on a journey through the forest and to a family member to give them something. And also the soldiers were like the wolf that Little Red Riding Hood saw.

The fairy tale that Annemarrie remembered was little red riding hood, she remembered this fairy tale because it reminded her when she was telling the story, Kristi had always interrupted her so it took her mind off of the germen soldiers.

The reason why Annemarie choose this fairy tale is because it related to what she was doing. The way it relates to what she is doing is in the fairytale Little Red Riding Hood has to go through the woods to give her grandma some food but she gets stopped by a wolf. Annemarie is doing the exact same thing but instead of giving food to her grandma shes giving it to her uncle and instead of being stopped by a wolf she gets stopped by Nazi Soldiers.

Annemarie thought of that fairy tale because she was in the woods with a basket and instead of going to Grannie’s she is going to Uncle Henrik like Little Red Riding Hood without the Grannie. How it relates to what is going on in the story is there both in the woods,both have a basket,and both hear shaking in the bushes.
